About us
Promoting aviation in McCall, Idaho
01
Our purpose
The primary purpose of the MYL High Flying Club, LLC is to promote aviation in general and private flying in particular by aiding, encouraging, promoting and sponsoring aviation activities.
The club takes its name from KMYL, the identifier for McCall Municipal Airport, and was formed to make airplanes accessible to local pilots at a cost a single owner rarely justifies. Partners share three aircraft, share the fixed expenses, and share the culture of careful mountain flying that Idaho demands.
02
Youth sponsorship
The club runs a youth sponsorship program that enables a selected local student to complete pilot training through the McCall Youth Learning Aviation Fund — one of the most direct ways we can grow the next generation of Idaho pilots.
How we got started
AOPA featured the club when it was formed at the 2016 Idaho Aviation Association Fly-In.
